March and April: Tulips and Spring Flowers in Salem, Arkansas: Salem will be the place to be during mid-March and the month of April to see thousands of tulips in bloom. April 9:  Annual Spring Fairgrounds Flea Market. Flea Market features antiques, primitives, gifts, crafts, and much more. Vendor information available at www.fultoncountyfair.org. 

 

April 8-9: Spring Community Wide Yard Sale & Business Sidewalk Sales for the Salem Area. A list of yard sale addresses will be available. 
 

May 27-28: Annual Fulton County Homecoming Festival. Features a street dance, open street market, food
trucks, Apple Pie 5K Run, Squirt Race, Horseshoe Pitching, Terrapin Race, Corn Hole Tournament, Music and
Parade.

 

May 30: Veteran’s Memorial Service. Salem VFW Post 9177 will conduct a Memorial Service for Veterans at 11:00 am at the Post Home on Hwy 395 North, Salem AR 72576.

 

July 4: Salem Chamber of Commerce Fireworks - Food trucks and music prior to a fireworks display on the Salem Knob.

July 20– 23: 103rd Annual Fulton County Fair. The fair will features exhibits, carnival, beauty queens, talent contest, rodeo, entertainment, truck pulling, Kid’s Day, Corn Hole Tournament and special days honoring veterans and seniors.

 

September 23 - 24: Fall Community Wide Yard Sale & Business Sidewalk Sales for the Salem Area. A listing of yard sale addresses will be available. 

 

(Tentative) October 8:  Holiday Extravaganza at the Fulton County Fairgrounds.  Holiday gift and decorating market featuring a number of direct marketing and craft vendors.  Call Mary Hall at 870-421-0580 for more information.
